This Privacy Policy explains how SEO by Daniel ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.

1. What We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored as a salted hash).

Domain & Scan Data

We collect the domain names you register for monitoring and the SEO analysis results of their pages. This includes page URLs, meta tags, headings, and other publicly available HTML data.

Payment Information

We do not collect or store payment card details. All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Your payment data is handled entirely by Paddle under their privacy policy.

Technical Data

We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and usage patterns to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To send service-related emails (scan results, account notifications, billing)
  • To improve the Service based on usage patterns
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Paddle (payment processing - they receive your billing email and payment info)
  • Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection - standard web traffic data)

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account cancellation, data is retained for 30 days (grace period) and then permanently deleted. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be retained indefinitely.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of your data

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. However, no service is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
